Is
this a league?
xxxxx
No,
we are not a league. Our classes are designed to let the child explore their talents and develop a love for the game of Futsal.
We focus on building self confidence with the ball and working as a group to be successful.

Where did Futsal come from?
xxxx
The origin of Futsal (Five-a-Side Soccer) can be traced back to Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1930 when Juan Carlos Ceriani
devised a five-a-side version of soccer for youth competition in YMCAs. Futsal is now played in all continents of the
world by over 100 countries with 12 million players.
xxxx
What are the advantages of playing futsal verses soccer?
xxxx
There are many advantages to playing futsal compared
to regular soccer:
- More
touches on the ball, verses 8v8 or 11v11 outdoor soccer.
- More opportunities
for everyone to score goals
- Players are not just a defender or an attacker
but a complete soccer player and have a much better all-around understanding of the game
- Eliminates complicated rules such as ‘off-sides’ that may hinder youngsters from playing.

I

simple and our staff provide all participants the necessary guidance and support to ensure every player has a blast!
