Coach Justin grew up in the bay area playing soccer and going to school. As a kid, Coach Justin played for Palo Alto soccer club where his U11 team won the national title in Denver, Colorado. As a teenager he continued to play soccer for Palo Alto soccer club and also played for Palo Alto High School. At his time at 'Paly', Justin was voted by the league for 'best defensive player' of the season during his senior year. He also played on a state cup winning team his last year of club soccer (Santa Clara Sporting). His Sporting team went on to regionals but unfortunately lost in the semi finals. After club soccer was over, coach Justin focused on school. However, he still had a love for the game so he decided to play with the San Jose frogs semi professional team for two years. While he was playing with the frogs he met coach Tom who got him into coaching and this is where he's been ever since.
Outside of coaching Justin volunteers for a camp called camp Reach for the Sky in southern California. The camp is an overnight camp for kids 8-18 yrs who have cancer or who have had cancer.
Justin graduated from San Jose state university with a degree in sociology with a minor in child and adolescent behavior. He works part time outside of coaching at a continuation school working with middle school students as a assistant teacher. He hopes to get his master in school counseling, to become a middle school counselor.
